Smash 4 Balance Patch 1.1.6 Announced
Get those old replays transferred to YouTube because Nintendo has announced a new balance patch for Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS arriving later this month. If you’re keeping count, this will be patch version 1.1.6.
In February, Sakurai confirmed that development of Smash Bros had officially ended. Naturally, most fans believed that also meant there would be no more balance patches released. Not so fast! About a month after that announcement, version 1.1.5 would be released, including several major balance changes.
Today, Nintendo revealed on their official Japanese website that a new patch, version 1.1.6, will be heading to a Wii U and/or 3DS near you within the next two weeks. Included in this patch will be “balance changes” (i.e. it’s a balance patch).
What are your thoughts on this upcoming balance patch for Smash Bros? Who do you hope gets buffed and who should be nerfed? Do you believe this will be the final balance patch or can we expect more?
