Main Course: don’t let’em eat you! (easy run) (by PapaD00m) (AZB Challenge Halloween Winner!)

It’s Halloween! And you know what that means… yep, the results of our AZBros Challenge are finally here! If you haven’t already figured out who won from the title, I’ll fill you in right now. The winner of the Halloween inspired AZBros Challenge is……… PapaD00m! Congratulations PapaD00m, your course, “don’t let’em eat you!“, is a perfect example of what these challenges are all about. So, I think this is probably a good time to skip the appetizers, and dig right into this Halloween themed Main Course!

Check out my playthrough below and find out whether or not the monsters eat me:

So it looks like I survived, thank goodness for that. The monster at the end did chew me up a bit, but I got out okay so its all good. And since I escaped the jaws of those hungry monsters, I can now go into more detail on why exactly “don’t let’em eat you!” was selected as not only a Main Course, but also the champion of our Halloween Contest.

This Main Course is no walk in the park, because if you haven’t noticed, you only have 20 seconds to reach the end. And not only that, but you’ll need to time your jumps too, or, spin jumps rather. So, move fast and spin jump, easy enough, right? Well, yes, this particular version of the course is meant to be easy for the player. And I’m glad that it can be played and enjoyed by players of all skill levels, because it’s a lot of fun. I think this shows just why PapaD00m is such a great creator, because he thinks about the players.

Not only do all the monsters have their own unique design, but…. THEY’RE ALIVE!!! I found it really creative how PapaD00m went about bringing each of these monsters to life. It adds to the thrill of the level knowing that they are really trying to eat you. And they’re also really cool to look at, so if you have the time, maybe take the stage to the editor so you can check em out in some more detail.

All in all, I can say that I am very happy with our winner (PapaD00m) of the very first AZBros Challenge. PapaD00m did a great job capturing the essence of what these challenges are meant to be. The course “don’t let’em eat you!” was very creative, visually appealing and most importantly, fun for all. So, with that being said, I’d like to once again congratulate PapaD00m on winning this AZBros Challenge. For everyone else (and PapaD00m, as well) be sure to stay tuned for more of these challenges in the future, and I’d also like to give one last huge thanks to everyone who entered this one. Without you guys, there would be no AZBros Challenge. So thank you everyone, hope you had fun, and I’ll see you at the next challenge!

I've played video games pretty much my whole life. And I'd say I love them just as much now as I did back then. I really enjoy fighting games and I'm always looking for new ones to try. I really like the competitiveness of fighters, and love testing my skills against other players. However, I also like to just sit back and relax with more casual games, too.
