Getting to know the AZBros

So who are the AZBros?  Good question.  At this point you probably already know that we’re brothers from Arizona that love video games.  But what else do you know about us?  Take a moment to read more about us and what we bring to the AZBros brand.  Scroll down to read each of our bios.

I’ve played video games pretty much my whole life. And I’d say I love them just as much now as I did back then. I really enjoy fighting games and I’m always looking for new ones to try. I really like the competitiveness of fighters, and love testing my skills against other players. However, I also like to just sit back and relax with a more casual game too sometimes. I also really enjoy trying new games, whether I think I’ll like them or not. In fact, some of my favorite games are ones that I was certain would not interest me. I’ve learned to never judge a book by its cover when it comes to video games…. or in this case, a game by its cover.

All the video game knowledge I’ve accumulated over the years sure does come in handy with all that I do here at AZBros. But you may be wondering, what exactly do I do? Well, my responsibilities and contributions consist of multiple things. Like creating articles for the website, entertaining our audience on twitch, and supplying content for our youtube channel. While doing all of this, I always try to make sure that our viewers are entertained and well informed.

What you’ll be seeing mostly from me here at AZBros.com will be anything from fun exclusive pieces to previews/reviews for upcoming and newly released games. For the exclusive sections, I like to be more fun with my writing style, like working around a theme or concept. Use the AZBros Armory as an example, I make it sound as if we are actually entering a real armory. So if you like that kind of stuff, expect to see a lot of it in the things that I do. However, for the informative sections I may have a more serious tone to my writing, it really just depends on what the article is about. At the end of the day though, my goal remains the same for everything I do here, and that’s to make sure that you get what you came for.

For as long as I can remember, video games have been a part of my life. I grew up with the NES. In fact, the NES was released in the USA right around the time I was born (please, don’t do the math). When it comes to video games, I consider myself more of a casual gamer. Don’t misunderstand, my goal is always to win and do well in any game I play, but I don’t let it consume me. If I’m not having fun anymore, I’ll move on to something else.  I truly believe video games should be fun. If you’re not having fun, what’s the point?

Here on AZBros, you’ll find that I mostly write editorial pieces. I’ve found that when it comes to gamers, they all have an opinion about their favorite games.   Everyone has their own idea for how their favorite franchise should be presented. Obviously, I have my own personal feelings and views on many topics surrounding the gaming world, but I also love hearing every other side.   Every viewpoint should be embraced, even if you don’t agree with it.  While my editorials express my personal views, I will always try to see and represent the other side. Understanding every angle of a story should never be discredited. So whether you agree with me or think I’m completely wrong, never hesitate to let me know.  I’m a big advocate of sharing your thoughts and opinions with us via the comments sections below every post and through our social media accounts.

My duties with AZBros consist of managing and maintaining the behind-the-scenes stuff. I control both my account on AZBros.com as well as the AZBros account. I am responsible for the website, as well as the official AZBros social media accounts. If you see AZBros on the web or at an online gaming forum, it’s most likely me you’re chatting with. You will occasionally see me playing a game on one of our livestreams, but I’m often better suited moderating the chatroom and keeping the stream running to its full potential.
